Craster's Keep sits in the haunted forest atop a low hill with an earthen dike around it. There is at least one gate on the southwest side of the compound and a stream runs around the north end of the hill. The gate is decorated with the skulls of a bear and a ram. Inside the dike, there is also a midden heap, a pigsty and a sheepfold.[1]

The keep itself is a daub-and-wattle hall that is long and low, made with logs and roofed with sod and big enough to hold thirty to fifty men at best. The door to the hall is made of two flaps of deer hide. The windowless hall is a single room, with a sleeping loft above reached by a pair of splintery ladders. Only Craster has a chair inside, and all others sit on the benches. There is a firepit in the center of the dirt floor, and dogs run around.[1] There is also a cellar.[2]

After months and months of sovereignity, I decided to host a feast. I talked over it with my wife and, after having collected all possible supplies, she sent the word to the faithful vassals of my realm. In a matter of days, almost all of my vassal lords, save those who have bad relations with me, started gathering at Sarleon. Needless to say, the feast turned into a major success, since the guests each day were so many that whenever I entered my hall, only a portion of them were visible each time. Here are my questions, though:
1. When my wife sent the word, a new quest appeared in the log, which informed me that I had a month to prepare things for the feast. The problem is that I 'd already made all possible preparations. The month passed, the lords were crowding each day, they saluted me, some relations went up and, finally, after a month passed, I was informed that my quest. failed. I don't get it. Did I do something wrong?
2. All supplies in my wife's inventory after a month of feasting are still there intact. Is it normal? There are other things there as well, valuables I 've collected through my adventuring career that I prize the most. Did they play any part to it and the supplies for the feast stayed intact?
3. The quest has failed, whenever I talk to my wife, I am presented with the option to host a feast again, so 'technically' I 'm not in a feast. Then, why do the lords keep coming and drink in my health? Yeah, I 'm a charming fellow surrounded by lackeys, I know, but, really, shouldn't they be on their way by now? Is there any bug and I 'm still considered to host a feast till I personally send everyone home myself?
4. That one month the feast lasted, no one declared war against me. Normally, I 'd never enjoyed more than a few days of peace till then. Was it just chance or, as long as I hold a feast, no one declares war? Logic dictates that it was pure chance, but can you give me a solid answer?
