What Is This Directory For?

You should download your Windows Server ISO images from TechNet/MSDN and place them in this folder. You cannot use a trial version, the keys are not changeable and it will quit working after the trial.

What you can do is visit the Microsoft licensing portal, and download the full install there, but of course that would require that you have rights to it. You can also use any other media (for a different license) if you have it.

I would suggest making sure all of your volume licensing is linked to a company account rather than any personal accounts. (IE a MS account of companyname@company.com account made for MS live) that way you can always have access to keys, media, etc.
